Hello there! We are Ichigo Bloom, a super friendly group of sustainability workshop organizers and facilitators in Tokyo. We offer engaging workshops to businesses, schools, and organizations across the country, focusing on accessible and science-based education. One example is the Climate Fresk, a workshop born in France, now adopted by nearly 2 million participants worldwide.

We’re a unique blend of nonprofit and for-profit, committed to making sustainability education accessible while supporting passionate facilitators. We also collaborate with non-profit workshop developers from Europe to bring their innovative solutions to Japan.
To accelerate our mission, we’re seeking a motivated volunteer intern. You’ll help translate workshop materials into Japanese, develop partnerships with non-profit organizations, identify opportunities for free workshops, and contribute to our online communication efforts. This internship offers flexibility – we will tailor the exact content with you – and the chance to learn about sustainability education for organizations.
The Ideal Candidate
- Native-level Japanese language skills + good English
- Strong interest in sustainability
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Very comfortable with online collaboration tools

Technical details
- This is an unpaid internship as our budget is currently very limited
- Ideally at least 15 hours per week, for at least 2 months (ideally 3-4 months)
- The internship is entirely remote, you can work from anywhere you like
- Access to the Google for Startups coworking space in Tokyo (Shibuya)
