Hi! We’re Ichigo Bloom
We’re a collective of sustainability facilitators, educators and event organizers based in Tokyo and Kansai. We come from different countries across Europe and Asia, with backgrounds spanning greentech startups, non-profits, corporate roles, public policy and HR. We think real learning happens where science meets emotion, and where people feel comfortable to speak honestly.

Stéfan, Founder & Lead Coordinator
Originally from France, Stéfan lives in Japan since 2016.
His background spans public policy and international cooperation, including experience at the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and hands-on work with Japanese sustainability startups. That mix of institutional and entrepreneurial experience shapes how he thinks about sustainability education and feeds directly into how Ichigo Bloom operates. He coordinates the collective, connects the dots between facilitators and clients, and keeps the platform running.
Minami, Sustainability Education Associate
Originally from Gunma, Minami brings warmth, precision and genuine enthusiasm to every session, qualities that have made her one of Japan’s most experienced Climate Fresk facilitators and trainers.
Her professional background weaves together HR, sustainability education development and environmental consulting, across organizations working at the forefront of Japan’s green transition. That combination gives her a rare understanding of both the human and organizational sides of behavior change, which comes through in every workshop she runs. She has been part of Ichigo Bloom from the very beginning.

Sakura, Sustainability Education Associate
Originally from Kyushu, Sakura is deeply committed to making sustainability education meaningful for Japanese audiences.
Having studied in Europe and with a background in human ecology, she brings both an international perspective and a strong local sensitivity to her work. She is one of Japan’s top Climate Fresk facilitators and trainers, involved in the official translation of workshop materials, and has facilitated for Japanese and European organizations alike.
Mahi, Sustainability Education Associate
Mahi was born in India, grew up in Japan, and has made sustainability her career, with a particular gift for bringing young people into the conversation.
After graduating in Environmental Sciences from the University of Tokyo, where she led the deployment of Climate Fresk on campus, she joined the Japanese branch of a European sustainability startup. She is Ichigo Bloom’s most experienced facilitator for student audiences, having run workshops in universities and educational settings across Japan.

Noriko, Sustainability Education Associate
Noriko knows corporate Japan from the inside, and uses that knowledge to make sustainability workshops land where they matter most.
An HR professional at a major French company in Japan, she brings credibility and cultural fluency to workshops with corporate audiences. Since 2022, she has facilitated numerous Climate Fresk sessions for companies and the general public, combining professional rigor with a genuine passion for a more sustainable future.
Lauriane, Kansai Regional Coordinator
Lauriane is an intercultural communication and project specialist who made Kyoto her home in 2019, and has been building bridges between Europe and Japan ever since.
Her expertise in international project management shapes how she coordinates Ichigo Bloom’s presence in the Kansai region, supporting facilitators and helping organizations there engage with sustainability topics. She’s also a Climate Fresk facilitator.

Mei, Sustainability Education Associate
Mei is Japanese-Filipino, originally from Shizuoka, and brings a sharp eye for social impact to everything she does.
After graduating in public policy from the University of Tokyo, she joined a Japanese sustainability startup. Her background in political science, immigration research and creative communication gives her an unusually broad lens on the social dimensions of sustainability, which comes through in her facilitation.
Antoine, Sustainability Education Associate
Antoine grew up in the French countryside, surrounded by nature, and that connection has shaped everything he has done since. Based in Osaka, he has made the Kansai region his home since 2012.
He built a career in energy and materials before turning to sustainability education. His scientific background brings a rare technical depth to Climate Fresk sessions, helping participants engage with the science confidently rather than feeling overwhelmed by it.

Sherrene, Sustainability Education Associate
Raised in Bali, Sherrene developed her commitment to sustainability early, shaped by a direct relationship with the natural environment that has stayed with her ever since.
After graduating in Environmental Science from the University of Tokyo, she now works on agricultural and forest restoration carbon credit projects across Southeast Asia. She brings real-world environmental project experience to her facilitation, grounding workshop conversations in what sustainability work actually looks like in practice.
Amelia, Sustainability Education Associate
Amelia is Ichigo Bloom’s youngest member, and proof that curiosity and commitment matter more than credentials.
A graduate of Yokohama International School, she chose a self-directed path to learning and development rather than a conventional university route. Her interests span behavioral psychology, DEI and biological sciences, and she sees climate change as inseparable from its social dimensions. That perspective makes her facilitation particularly thoughtful for audiences encountering these topics for the first time.

Kaori, Sustainability Education Associate
Born in Miyazaki and educated partly in Switzerland, Kaori has always moved between worlds. That ease with different cultures, contexts and crowds is exactly what makes her such a natural in front of a room.
Her career has taken her through sales, event management and the entertainment industry, before finding its way to communication, content creation and MC work across a wide range of events, including our own Too Hot to Be Cool rock for climate series. She has worked with French and Japanese companies in retail and marketing, and brings that cross-cultural fluency directly into her facilitation and her role supporting Ichigo Bloom’s communications.
She facilitates Climate Fresk and Digital Collage, in English and Japanese.
