Digital Collage workshop with the German Chamber of Commerce in Japan

After a successful Climate Fresk hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan earlier this year, we’re very happy to partner with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan) for a session of the Digital Collage, a collaborative workshop to understand the environmental impact of digital technologies.

Every email, video stream, and file stored in the cloud has an invisible environmental cost. The Digital Collage workshopsheds light on the surprisingly tangible impact of our digital habits, from the energy-hungry data centers to the rare materials in our devices.

In this collaborative and interactive session, participants work in small groups using a set of 50 illustrated cards to uncover the lifecycle of digital technologies and the hidden links between our online behaviors, climate change, and resource use.

Developed in Europe and already experienced by more than 120,000 participants worldwide, the Digital Collage is rooted in science and designed to spark reflection, conversation, and meaningful action, whether you’re a tech expert or a digital beginner.
