Saturday, November 14, 2026 | Shinjuku MARZ, Tokyo

LONDON & TOKYO, 17 February 2026 — LOUD WOMEN, the international feminist music organization founded in London in 2015, is proud to announce the first-ever LOUD WOMEN Fest Tokyo, taking place Saturday 14 November 2026, at Shinjuku MARZ in collaboration with Tokyo-based “rock for climate” event series Too Hot to Be Cool.
This landmark event will be the first festival of its kind in Japan, centering women, trans, and non-binary musicians across punk, alt-rock, indie-pop, and indie-rock. All proceeds will support a youth-led climate NPO in Southeast Asia.
LOUD WOMEN Fest Tokyo will bring LOUD WOMEN’s globally recognised, community-driven approach to Japan, creating a platform for underrepresented artists while connecting local and international scenes. Since its launch, LOUD WOMEN has built a strong international reputation for delivering high-quality, well-promoted festivals and showcases across the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia. This first Asian edition in Tokyo will benefit from Too Hot to Be Cool’s deep roots in the local scene and community built over 6 editions since 2024.
LOUD WOMEN founder Cassie Fox said:
“Launching LOUD WOMEN Fest in Japan is something we are incredibly excited about. This is about creating new space, new connections and new opportunities for artists who are too often marginalised. Working with Too Hot to be Cool, and raising money for a climate change NPO, makes this a truly meaningful first step for LOUD WOMEN in Japan.”
Too Hot to Be Cool founder Stéfan Le Dû said:
“We’re thrilled to partner with LOUD WOMEN for their first event in Japan. Diversity and climate justice work together. Through this collaboration, we’ll support both causes, while offering our community in Tokyo the largest event we’ve organized to date, featuring 10 Japanese and international bands.”
The festival will operate on a nonprofit basis. In line with Too Hot to Be Cool’s core mission and reflecting LOUD WOMEN’s wider commitment to intersectional activism and social change, all proceeds will be donated to a youth-led organisation working on climate justice and environmental protection in Southeast Asia.
