About This Event
Building an impact-driven startup isn’t just about ideals. It’s about hard choices — around capital, growth, organizational design, and how impact gets defined, measured, and sustained over time.
Impact Future Weekend (Mar 29, 2026) is a community event co-hosted by We Are The Impact and Ichigo Bloom, designed to explore those choices openly and practically.
We’re bringing together institutional investors, early-stage VCs, startup founders, and community builders to look honestly at how impact-driven startups are actually built, and where the real opportunities and tensions lie.
Alongside venture and investment discussions, the program also creates space to explore organizational culture and inclusion through an optional Gender Equity Collage workshop facilitated by Ichigo Bloom.

What We’ll Explore
The program is structured in four parts, each approaching impact-driven entrepreneurship from a distinct angle.
1. Impact in Practice: Perspectives from Capital & the Ecosystem
An opening panel bringing together voices from large investment institutions, early-stage venture capital, founding teams, and entrepreneurial communities to discuss:
- How impact investing works on the ground
- Where capital and founders align and where they don’t
- What it really takes to build an impact-driven venture today
2. Making Impact Ventures Tangible
An interactive knowledge-sharing session that breaks down how impact-driven ventures are actually designed in practice — concrete, hands-on, and built for participation.
3. Founders’ Voices: Real Journeys, Real Trade-offs
Three practitioners share their entrepreneurial journeys — including pivots, and the decisions they’d make differently. No polished case studies. Just honest reflections, followed by an open Q&A with the audience.
4. Gender Equity Collage Workshop (Optional | Hosted by Ichigo Bloom)
Following the main program, participants are invited to join the Gender Equity Collage, a hands-on, collaborative workshop hosted by Ichigo Bloom that explores the causes and consequences of gender inequality through group discussion and collective intelligence.
Gender equity is one of the defining challenges of impact-driven organizations. This workshop offers a structured yet open space to build shared understanding, surface assumptions, and move from awareness to dialogue – grounded in leading research on gender equity and inclusion.
